Special needs sadi offers sevices to children and adults with special needs. Individuals and families can choose the service or services that best meets their specific needs. To qualify for sadi's special needs services, an individual must be approved for the service through sikeston regional center. The individual must be diagnosed with a developmental disability before the age of 22.

Independent living program sadi is committed to providing services to persons with disabilities to enable them to remain in their own home and commuinity, and not in an institution. Services are provided in the counties of cape girardeau, perry, bollinger, scott, and mississippi. The philosophy behind independent living is that all persons, regardless of disability, are entitled to and should have equal access to the rights and responsibilities that other citizens are provided, to be active and productive members of society as they so choose. Sadi's programs focus on making choices in one's life which bring about change enabling more control to maintain independence. There are four core services: information and referral, peer support, advocact and skills training.

Sadi is a non-residential independent living center developed to provide independent living services to individuals with disabilities. Sadi endeavors to encourage and assist persons with disabilities to achieve control over their lives. Individuals are empowered to choose feasible options that minimize dependence and increase independence in the performance of daily activities and the use of assistive technology.
