Other Program Services Our programs meet people where they are. Through Leadership and Literacy, we support children and pastors pursuing education that would otherwise be out of reach. Health for Hope brings medical care to communities with limited access to clinics and doctors. Neighbor to Neighbor includes childrens events, and Reel Joy, our invitation-based outreach that brings the film Jesus for Children to schools and communities. Bread of Life offers practical helpfood, supplies, and carewhen families are in crisis. Together, these programs represented $75,670 in program impact during 2024.

In Guatemala, limited infrastructure and field leadership hinder consistent delivery of aid and long-term growth. In 2024, the Nehemiah Project directed year-round program operations, supervising construction, coordinating logistics, managing volunteers, and ensuring program effectiveness across multiple initiatives. This field-based leadership enabled timely service delivery and strengthened the reach of mission efforts across rural communities.

About 10% of Guatemalans live with disabilities, yet many lack access to healthcare or advocacy. This year, Ray of Hope supported 80+ children through physical therapy, home visits, medication delivery, nutritional aid, and coordinated on-site neurology evaluations to expand access to life-changing care.

Guatemala faces a 2.2 million home deficit, leaving many families in unsafe living conditions. In 2024, Daughters of God maintained transitional housing for abandoned women and children and constructed four new Houses of Hope for destitute families, providing safe shelter and stability.
