Mission
Senior volunteer services promotes volunteers and the health and well-being of both seniors and their communities by recruiting volunteers for nonprofit organizations, working with other agencies that support and advocate seniors.

Prsc: paso robles senior center: a contract with the city of paso robles provides on-site management of the senior center. Staffing by senior volunteer services with a coordinator assures a cost-effective and smooth operation of the center. Coordinator duties include developing and providing appropriate senior programs that encourage participation of center members to enhance their health and well-being. Programs include computer classes, a library, games, celebratory meals and field trips.
Cccv: retired and senior volunteer program rsvp for seniors over age 55, and central coast community volunteers cccv for seniors over age 50, recruit and place these senior volunteers at community nonprofit and government agencies located in san luis obispo and northern santa barbara counties. These volunteers, provided 44,700 hours of service during the period. Rsvp has been active for more than 43 years and cccv was launched in october of 2015. Both these programs, under the direction of senior volunteer services, are the only ones that specifically recruit senior volunteers to serve other nonprofit and governmental agencies.
