The mission of Shag Bark is a not for profit organization that offers permanent placement to semi-retired horses and equine assisted activities to all ages in a family atmosphere. Shag Bark is organized and shall be operated exclusively for charitable and educational purposes including:Supporting and administering programs to assist all ages in developing equine related skills Provide an environment where young adults can gain leadership skills Equine education and advocacy throughout the community Create a safe haven for semi-retired horses to have a permanent home
