The shalom center assists low and moderate income homebuyers in los angeles and orange areas by providing free counseling and training to educate clients about their home purchase options and to alleviate purchase such as poor credit, lack of savings, lack of knowledge about the homebuying process, housing discrimination and predatory lending. The shalom center is alsoproviding outreach and education events of food stamp and food bank programs to the low income individuals of los angeles county as an intermediary to provide assistance.
