Shalom Community Impact Center

Delivered basic and intermediate digital skills workshops to 20 participants covering topics such as email use internet safety online job applications and using productivity software. Laptops and internet access support were also provided to low-income clients to help bridge the digital divide.

Offered individualized job readiness coaching resume preparation interview training and employment referrals to 40 community members. Partnered with local employers and workforce agencies to place clients in entry-level and skilled job opportunities.

Hosted a 8-week youth summer camp that served 60 children from refugee and immigrant families. The camp combined academic reinforcement arts and crafts outdoor recreation cultural exchange and field trips to local educational sites. The program aimed to prevent summer learning loss and promote confidence leadership and social connection among youth.

Provided English as a Second Language ESL instruction to over 40 adult learners from refugee and immigrant backgrounds. Classes focused on practical language skills for daily living employment and civic engagement. Instruction was delivered in small group formats both in-person and virtually to accommodate varying literacy levels and schedules.

Provided academic support and enrichment activities to 60 K-12 students from immigrant and refugee households. The program focused on homework help literacy improvement STEM exposure and social-emotional learning. Staff also engaged with parents and schools to monitor student progress
