Share Incorporated was established in 1969 by a coalition of local religious and civic institutions to meet the emergency needs of those in economic distress in the greater McLean area. Share aids low income families through its family assistance food clothing furniture back-to-school supplies and computer donation programs.

Programs

Holiday Seasonal Program - Share provides its clients grocery and retail gift cards for the December holidays as well as gift card and household sundries such as toiletries at various times during the year.

Food and Clothing - Share operates a food pantry and clothing room in space provided by a local church. Clients are permitted to visit the pantry two times per month. The pantry is open for visits on most Wednesday and Saturday mornings. In some instances grocery gift cards are distributed in addition to groceries.
