To serve those whose lives are touched by the tragic death of a baby through pregnancy loss, stillbirth or in the first few months of life.

Programs

Education and trainingshare provides education and training to through sessions designed to increase awareness of our mission, promote access to care for families, and educate others in the special skills required to care for families who have lost a baby. The program includes local and out of state training events for professional caregivers, parents, and other community members. Training curriculum is comprised of several components including but not limited to perinatal grief, cultural and social diversity, rights of parents, parental companioning, memory making and power of presence. Education is also carried out through printed materials, share's online magazine and intermittent speaking engagements. During 2023 share provided training to 209 individuals through online training.

Expenses: $27K

Memorial eventsshare organizes and hosts several memorial events each year for bereaved parents and families. These include burial services, brick dedication ceremonies, candlelight vigils and holiday services. Share also hosts events specific to bereaved siblings and grandparents. All events are free of charge. During 2023 share reached approximately 3,014 individuals through memorial events.
