Shared Beat

Scholarship program: shared beat's scholarship program ended the year with 16 scholarship students. Our first medical student graduated. We will start 2025 with 19 students. Shared beat continues to receive generous grants from christadelphian meal-a-day fund and the divine foundation provide additional support to the scholarship program.

Health education program: shared beat supports health education at safe passage through monetary support for a full-time health education teacher. This provides bi-monthly health education classes for 500 students. Shared beat supports health education in the rural communities of santo domingo, santa rosa ii, el sargento and san bartoleme, candaleria through a teach-the-teacher program provided by the health coordinator of juntos saludables, shared beat's rural health school prevention program. Additionally, the rural health program funding is increased to provide 2 contract health promotors and one full-time assistant coordinator to provide coordination to the health director.
