To extinguish fires in homes, businesses, other structures and nature when so needed. Assistance with accidents involving vehicles and/or any other emergencies, including treacherous weather and natural disasters. Other activities include but are not limited to: search and rescue, assistance to other fire departments, sponsorship of cpr classes for the department and community, teaching fire safety and prevention, and lending the use of the organization's facilities for community events.
