Oak Forest Eco Restoration: To provide restoration work in the lower counties of Illinois by replacing the traditionally soft-wood forests with long-term oak and hardwood habitat.

Oak Ecosystem Restoration: Provides implementation of conservation efforts on estimated 4,000 acres of private forest land identified as high-quality by conservation interest in Southern Illinois. These conservation practices reverse the loss of oak dominance while contributing to the conservation of plant and animal species dependent on a healthy oak ecosystem.
