The organization's primary purpose is to support shenandoah valley medical system, inc., which is an organization devoted to improving the health of the residents of morgan, berkeley, and jefferson counties, west virginia, and adjacent areas by: (1) increasing accessibility, continuity, and quality of the health services provided; (2) restraining increases in costs and preventing unnecessary duplication of health resources; and (3) encouraging and supporting integrated health care delivery systems.
