Sherborn Historical Society

Arts, Culture and Humanities / Historical Societies, Related Historical Activities: The Sherborn Historical Society, which was founded in 1911 and incorporated in 1913, has been preserving the towns history and artifacts for over a century. We continue to work on inventory and preservation of the collection archives. The purpose of the Society is to collect, display, store, and preserve artifacts, information, and documents concerning our local history and to use our resources to provide educational services to our community and the public at large. The Sherborn Historical Society collects, displays and preserves artifacts and documents related to the history of the town, provides educational programming to the public on topics related to our shared history, responds to research requests and more.
