Mission
The purpose of the Sheridan Museum of History is to preserve the heritage of the area by acquiring, managing and protecting a collection of irreplaceable artifacts, memorabilia and verbal recounts of days gone by. Through exhibits and printed material, we provide access to the public so they may learn from our exhibits and demonstrations. Since 2018, we have owned a historic 1914 building as a permanent location for the museum and a community gathering space "Making History Matter" in Sheridan.
