Mission
The mission of the Washington County Sheriff's Office (WCSO) Foundation is to raise and contribute funds for programs and/or services that will improve public safety throughout Washington County, which may not be funded through the regular Sheriff's Office Budget. These may include educational programs, programs for public awareness of operations and crime prevention, providing assistance with programs that the WCSO may offer for youth, elderly and the general public, and programs or equipment needed to assist WCSO in the administration of its duties.

K-9 training, care and competitions - Funds and supplies provided to assist in the training, care and development of canines in the K-9 unit of Washington County, Oregon.
Reserve Deputy - funds and suplies provided to volunteer reserve deputies, sworn law enforcement officers who are called upon to assist full-time patrol deputies at various times as needed.
Injured Deputies Program - Assistance provided to police officers or their families when injured or killed in the line of duty.
Community Outreach programs that covers diverse topics as: drug abuse awareness and prevention; home security, national night out, neighborhood watch, personal safety/self defense, traffic safety.
Project Lifesaver - funds and supplies provided to Washington County Deputies in helping finding and rescuing individuals with cognitive conditions.
WCSO Program Assistance - funds and assistance provided with programs that the WCSO may offer for youth, elderly and the general public.
