To provide aid to spouses and issue of peace officers who, while in the employ of el dorado county, or other municipal corporations in the area of el dorado county, or in the employ of the california highway patrol, have lost their lives in the line of duty; to provide support to the el dorado county sheriff's department and other law enforcement agencies in el dorado county.
