Mission
Shoulder to Shoulder supports the life and health of people in rural southeastern Tanzania through projects and education related to the Ilula Lutheran Hospital. We provide funds for needed hospital and clinic buildings equipment and training for students at the Ilula Institute for Allied Health Sciences.

Ilula-Minnesota Continuing Medical Education Conference held 2 days in Iringa Tanzania in January 2024 for over 100 health professionals from 25 hospitals in southeastern Tanzania and a small team of visiting health professional from Minnesota.
Scholarships for well-qualified students at the Ilula Institute for Allied Health Sciences located at the Ilula Lutheran Hospital.
Funds to help build a morgue at Ilula Lutheran Hospital
Tuition and expenses for advanced training for 3 medical staff at Ilula Lutheran Hospital
