To furnish fire protection to the residents of shrewsbury vermont and provide proper fire safety training and equipment to the members of the shrewsbury volunteer fire department, while maintaining two fire stations. The two stations are required to ensure proper fire protection to our citizens because of the large territory required for coverage.
