The shrine bowl of the carolinas is a non - profit organization under the jurisdiction of the ancient arabic order of the mystic shrine of north america. It was founded so that the shrine temples of north and south carolina could sponsor an annual high school all-star football game to raise funds for the shriner's hospital for crippled and burned children.
