Sid jacobson jewish community center provides comprehensive programming based on jewish values, traditions, heritage, education and culture and are committed to enriching the lives of all the individuals and families in our community.
Programs
4 programs
Youth & family: provide nursery school to over 180 children, as well as after school programming, teen programming and parenting programming, and a children's and community theatre for children and families.
Specialized services: provide programming and consultation to adults with dementia, people and the families of people diagnosed with cancer, children and adults that are neuro-diverse, social services and counseling services for people suffering from bereavement, depression and other issues.
Other: our community needs bank gives food and other needed items to the food insecure others in need. We educate the community about social justice and provide the opportunity for volunteers to give service throughout the community.
Other: 1. Age is nothing but a number! Seniors 75 years and older stay engaged and active with programs dedicated to aging well. 2. Radiating from our core belief that health does not exist without mental health, we offer opportunities to become better versions of ourselves while promoting psychological resilience. 3. The world of jewish and israeli connection awaits you through our comprehensive programs, instilling a foundation of jewish and israeli values, traditions, and culture through art, human connection, and education. Arts + culture: take center stage with our expansive arts + culture programs that are sure to educate and entertain through literary, culinary, and theatre arts, exhibits, trips, games, workshops, and more!
