Sierra Foothills Aids Foundation

Outreach: provided a comprehensive hiv/aids and prep awareness program in the sierra foothills region. Outreach activities (approximately 17 events in 2024) have taken place including: hiv testing, speaking engagements at county agencies, or other non-profit organizations. Participating at college health fairs and probation department health fairs, substance abuse facilities, local health care providers, and other local and regional events. Providing educational materials, std protection, testing, and referrals to those recently incarcerated and who use substance. Information, referrals and references were also disseminated through phone and internet communications with the general public.
