Si2 Base Member offers members the option to collaborate in one or all of a variety of topical working groups that develop and approve standards that benefit the global semiconductor industry. Si2 Base Member plays a pivotal role in the enhanced Si2 standards development process. It targets potential standards earlier, streamlines a path for more timely industry approval, and strengthens interproject collaboration.
OpenAccess is a community effort to provide true interoperability, not just data exchange, amoung IC design tools through an open standard data API and reference database supporting that API for IC design. The OpenAccess Coalition is a neutral organization of industry leaders that are leading this effort operating under Si2 bylaws.
