Mission
The silver oak jumper tournament brings together top horse and rider combinations from all over the world to massachusetts for olympic caliber show jumping. In doing so the value and plight of the animals is highlighted for the publics in attendance at an annual week long competition viewed by thousands each summer and amplified further through the broadcasr of a one-hour prime-time television program produce and aired by nesn new england sports network that reaches some five million homes. The silver oak jumper tournament has als worked to promoted therapeutic riding programs such as the bina farm of lexington, massachusetts and the unh therapy program of the university of new hampshire. These programs put together children and families as well as veterans with horses for both physical and emotional healing and have proven effective through the world class claiber of our sport.
