The organization awarded scholarships to deserving students studying to become doctors in the field of medicine.the organization produced and distributed health education programs for radio, television and printed materials. The organization also encouraged doctors to locate in communities in northern california.the organization provided speakers to those groups and institutions that needed health education.the organization served as mentors to high school, college and medical students interested in medicine.
