Programs
2 programs
Marketing Working Group - This is chartered to to increase awareness of SIP among selected communities. To do this, the working group performs tasks like creating white papers for distribution from a booth at selected industry conferences, maintaining a freely accessible website listing of SIP-based products and services, and coordinating the speaking opportunities for full member representatives at trade conferences.
Technical Working Group - This is chartered to create documents that serve as best practice recomendations about how products use this Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) for application-specific purposes. These documents, while themselves not the official definition of SIP standard, describe which function is to use within SIP (and other relevant technologies) in order to supply application-specific features.
