Sitka Homeless Coalition

The sitka homeless coalition provides services to those experiencing chronic homelessness, including a showers and laundry program and a dinner program. Shower and laundry services are offered twice-weekly. In addition, cold weather gear, including tents, sleeping bags, etc. Were offered. The dinner program averages twelve meals per day during the period of service provision in 2023.

The sitka homeless coalition is currently developing the hitx'i saani project, a 12-unit permanent supportive housing development for individuals experiencing homelessness. During this reporting period, 256,813 of construction costs were capitalized for the housing development.
