To serve as an educational and repository facility that demonstrate the history, the vision, the vitality, and the values and culture of the peoples of the siuslaw valley and coastal region.
Programs

We issue a quarterly newsletter and hold monthly docent meeting to support the needs of our volunteers for this critical portion of the museums mission. For 2024 we had 18 volunteers & 12 board members who all logged over 4,827 volunteer hours to the museum.
Provide the opportunity for 2,235 during 2024 (and increase from 2023 that had 2,117 visitors) of tourists, local community members, senior citizens and local school groups to view our displays of local historical artifacts and use our library of historical data and documents to research and learn about the people of siuslaw valley and coastal region
The yearly picnic honoring the miles family was hosted by pat rongey. It was well attended, and all noted it to be a wonderful success
