Skateistan

Skateistan uses skateboarding as a tool for empowering youth to create new opportunities and the potential for change. The mission of skateistan is to foster national and international communication and understanding among local and international cultures, to build the confidence, leadership, teamwork, and other life skills of vulnerable target beneficiaries and underserved youth worldwide, and to provide safe recreational and educational facilities for such youth.
