Mission
Slippery Fish is a vibrant and nurturing cooperative preschool in San Francisco, with play-based programs for children starting at 12 months. Our community thrives on the collective contributions of our families and staff. Together, we create an exceptionally supportive, safe, and engaging environment for learning. Our mission is to create and support an inclusive, play-based, and child-centered education that honors individual strengths in children, parents, and teachers while fostering relationships between each other, our diverse community, and our wider world.

We received a grant to run Developmental Playgroups for San Francisco residents focused on children with mild developmental delays. We shifted our programming in August 2024 to offer more days for our 2yo program (Koi) and a day reserved for Developmental Playgroups instead of running our infant/toddler programs (Minnows/Goldfish).
