The trust has been established to provide participants and their dependents and beneficiaries with welfare benefits as set forth in the plan, and to provide such other permissable payments to be determined from time to time, and it is intended that the benefits and payments by the plan and funded through the trust be "life, sick, accident, or other benefits" as that phrase is defined in section 501 (c) (9) of the code.
