Mission
Smyth county community foundation's (sccf) mission is to partner to build pathwaysfor a stronger community by creating opportunities and giving hope for a brighterfuture for all smyth county citizens and adjacent communities. Sccf partners withcommunity members to set up endowed funds to support scholarships and communitygrants across smyth county. These funds are managed by sccf to grow in value whiledonating a portion of the earnings to award scholarships to smyth county studentsand grants to nonprofit organizations across the county. Through the investingand growth, the funds will give back to the community for years to come. Sccf alsopartners with our local towns and other nonprofits to promote health, wellnessand education throughout our communities.
