The research coalition of the snot force alliance successfully developed the polyps scale (pops) to provide otolaryngologists with a standardized method to grade sinonasal polyps following sinus surgery. The alliance continues to promote awareness and utilization of the pops through educational outreach, collaborative research, and engagement with multispecialty teams. These ongoing activities support improved clinical assessment, research consistency, and patient outcomes in chronic rhinosinusitis with nasal polyps (crswnp).
Brought academic physicians together from institutions across the us to perform collaborative clinical research to improve patient care of sinus, allergy, and airway disease.
