Trainings - We have offered 60 complimentary knowledge and skill sessions for families, individuals, or organizations at the SAF Hillsborough location or at their preferred location. We have enhanced Positive Approach to Care Certifications by holding them onsite and inviting in local teachers both living with brain change and their partners to support education and practice. This work has engaged national and international visitors through 16 Certification Courses held at SAF and 10 full-day Skills Trainings. We have provided training for Orange County EMS, Duke and UNC Nursing programs, financial advisors, and more. We are beginning to use videos to expand training beyond the in-person people so that this work can benefit the global community.

Consults - We have conducted over 250 complimentary consults over the course of the year. They include consults for individuals, family members, teams of care supporters, and professionals providing support to participants in SAF programs.
