Grants and donations are used to support social current's work in child, family, and community well-being to transform systems and organizations that interface with children and families and activities that equip policymakers, practitioners, and advocates with the tools they need to fundamentally reform child welfare to working to reduce child abuse and neglect fatalities. The funds also support building leadership and organizational competencies and capacity, and our work in workforce resilience and brain science to advance understanding of brain-aware perspectives and stay regulated, build psychological safety, prioritize positive workplace culture, and increase connection.
Spark and impact partnerships: spark unites practice excellence, innovation, and federal policy advocacy to advance our sector's impact and help all families and communties thrive. This in-person event elevates important conversations around our most vexing challenges and showcases insight and expertise from the field. This event is designed for leaders who are fueled by a commitment to improve the well-being of all people. Spark provides inspiration and practice tools for implementing innovative practice, policy, and research. Impact partnerships provide access to a host of tools, resources, learning, and networking opportunities including a knowledge, and insights center (library and research librarian services) and a range of webinars and self-paced trainings in areas that support the implementation of best practices. We also represent the policy interests of the network to federal and state legislatures and executive branches and departments

Social current's outcomes-focused lens and partnership approach supports organizations to be high impact. Through it's strategic consulting services, social current's team work to create champions for an organization's mission impact and for larger systemic change.
