Mission
Society for developmental behavioral pediatrics, inc. (the society) is dedicated to optimizing the development and behavioral (db) health of all children and families through interprofessional collaboration. The society is dedicated to improving the developmental and behavioral health of children by providing exceptional leadership and promoting research, education, advocacy, and practice. The society advocates for an integrated approach to the biological, psychological, social, educational and cultural influences on children, youth, and their families.

The society provides convenient electronic services to its members such as listserves, website access, annual surveys, online registrations and dues renewal, electronic balloting, online directory, publications, notifications of upcoming events and opportunities and meeting materials.
The society produces a bimonthly journal devoted to the developmental and psychosocial aspects of pediatric health care.
The leadership of the society meets periodically to help shape the future of the society and the field of developmental-behavior pediatrics.
The society supports quality research and international programs focused on the field of developmental and behavioral pediatrics.
