Society For Inherited Metabolic Disorders

During the year ended june 30, 2025, society for inherited metabolic disorders ("the organization") conducted its second metabolic course for young trainees in the field of inborn errors of metabolism and genetics. The north american metabolic academy systems review was held during the fiscal year.

Also during the year, the organization continued to provide iembase, an extensive system providing both an online knowledgebase and a smart system (artificial intelligence) for curation and diagnosis support for inborn errors of metabolism.

The society continues its membership program and offers a subscription to the journal of the simd - mgm (molecular genetics and metabolism).
