Mission
SMPS Austin boasts over 170 members representing a diverse range of professional services firms. Our chapter operates to advocate for, educate, and connect leaders in the local building industry through relevant and timely programming, professional development resources, and networking events. SMPS Austin is a community of marketing and business development professionals working to secure profitable business relationships for their A/E/C companies. Through networking, business intelligence, and research, SMPS members gain a competitive advantage in positioning their firms successfully in the marketplace. SMPS Austin offers members professional development, leadership opportunities, and marketing resources to advance their careers.

Conducted a Marketing Communications Awards program honoring excellence in marketing communications where a panel of expert jurors provide constructive feedback on entries. We had over 20 entries with over 200 guests at the awards ceremony.
Continued supporting the Lyndsay Maclin Woods Amplify Scholarship (for winner to attend the National SMPS Conference), the Rising Star Award Scholarship and Member of the Year Scholarship (both to attend the local regional conference). We also underwrote half the cost of our board members to attend the local regional conference, to further their professional development and leadership.
