In october 2024, spca tampa bay sold its veterinary center to meet evolving community needs and to focus on providing low-cost care options to pet owners in pinellas county through other avenues. The veterinary center provided services through september 2024. Since 2016, the spca tampa bay veterinary center realized the agency's overall mission of passionate collaboration with the community that transforms the lives of animals by offering essential veterinary services to keep pets healthy and in their homes. (continued on schedule o)the veterinary center provided exams and vaccinations to keep animals safe and healthy. Animals were given critical parasite prevention testing and many animals received preventives. Permanent pet identification in the form of microchipping was completed. These services were complemented by a full range of diagnostic and treatment programs available to support a lifetime of care for pets.
