Monthly programs and industry government engagement (ige) events- the hampton roads post develops monthly programs engaging subject matter expertise both in industry and federal agencies on a variety of topics of interest and importance. The ige event included discussions with key stakeholders on topics such as sustainability, climate resiliency, adaptation, and emerging trends.

Stem activities- the stem activities included program support and donations to local schools to enrich their k-12 stem program (including job shadowing, mentoring for high school students and nasa space camp mentors). The stem engineering and construction camp included financial support for 13 campers in addition to post members volunteering at these camps. Scholarships were awarded to 23 high school and continuing college students to pursue post-secondary education in a stem field.

Donations to local community - the same hampton roads post hosted several community outreach events including providing a cash and canned food donations to our local food bank, a toy drive benefiting the forkids organization, wreath laying at the albert g horton jr memorial veterans cemetery, and a donation to the veterans band aid music festival.
