Mission

The pikes peak post of society of american military engineers (same) promotes professional development and social opportunities for military, public agency, and private industry engineers, planners, and management consultants involved in military and public works projects that support national defense and the public welfare. The pikes peak post has been supporting civilian and military engineers for 50 years. Currently, our post is comprised of approximately 250 members with a large mixture of active duty, civil service, and contractor personnel.

The pikes peaks post hosted lunch and dinner meetings to promote collaboration and networking among the same members throughout the rocky mountain region.

The scholarship opportunity is open to any student who plans to pursue an engineering degree and has at least one family member (sibling, parent, or grandparent) who is either: an active same member, a current member of the us military, or retired from the us military.
