Society Of American Military Engineers

The sacramento post of the society of american engineers (same) awards scholarships annualy to high school and college students who are studying engineering or related technical sciences including architecture, math, physics, chemistry, geology and earth sciences. Scholarships vary from $1,000 to $4,000.

Community service donations to organizations, programs or activities that efficiently support causes similar to those considered by the sacramento post throughout the greater sacramento community, specifically programs that advance the study of mathematics and science to economically disadvanteged elementary and high school students.

Awards and recognition are designed to recognize individual members and sustaining members firms who have demonstrated consistent dedication and commitment to promoting same's mission.
