Membership:scct offers membership to all those interested in and/or practicing cardiac ct, providing benefits such as subscriptions to the journal of cardiovascular computed tomography, reduced fees for meetings and education, networking and certification opportunities.

Publications:scct publishes the journal of cardiovascular computed tomography to distribute the findings of the latest research in cardiac ct; develops clinical practice guidelines and expert consensus documents on the best uses and protocols for cardiac ct and continually evaluates the learning needs of physicians and healthcare professionals in the field and using this data, creates educational materials to assist in preparation for certification exams as well as achieving and maintaining verification of experience.

Advocacy: scct works with member clinicians as well as private and public payers to ensure policies are based on the most recent and relevant research on cardiovascular ct, to improve coverage of the procedure for patients who need it and ensure reimbursement is appropriate and adequately reflects costs.
