To raise awareness of the accomplishments the health services division medical section of the nycpd to invited health professional (doctors) who have practiced or continue to practice health related procedures and how they may assist in providing services on a voluntary basis. Raising funds to support educational awards presented to young adults whom are family members of new york city police officers entering into graduate studies within a health profession field. The awards are presented to honor medical professional who dedicated their expertise to the nyc police department, health services division, medical section.
