Society Of Saint Vincent De Paul Blessed Junipero Serra Conference

The Society of SVDP, Blessed Junipero Serra Conference is a Catholic organization open to those who wish to grow in their faith by serving God and their neighbor and dedicated to serving the less fortunate in our community. Emergency aid in the form of rental assistance, food, short-term motel stays, utility payments, clothing, and transportation are some of the services we provide to the homeless and working poor. The largest aid expense is emergency rent payments, predominantly for the working poor, to stabilize families by keeping them in their home. A large many of these families are frequently only a paycheck away from financial distress should they encounter an illness, car breakdown, reduction in work hours or loss of job. The homeless need an occasional motel stay to address hygiene, prepare for a job interview, or seek shelter in extreme climate conditions.
