The specific purpose of the Society of St Vincent de Paul - Sacred Heart Church Conference is to provide monetary and food assistance to the poor of Sacred Heart Parish for the intent of keeping the recipients of this assistance in their homes maintaining utility services and preventing hunger through small grant awards under 2000 each A total of 132 families including 176 children for a total of 325 people were helped Rental assistance in the total of 39672 was used to help 68 families utility bill assistance in the total of 23935 was used to help 62 families and 976 was used to help 6 families with household furnishings Small cash donations via Mass attendee collection baskets are the primary source of revenue
