The organization's purpose is to conduct activities that provide opportunities for fellowship, commingling and personal contact among members, including but not limited to sponsoring and hosting events for the members' enjoyment and appreciation of wines from the loire valley in france. Such activities for the pleasure and recreation of its members are permitted under section 501(c)(7) of the internal revenue code.
