Society Of Toxicologic Pathology

The society's journal, toxicologic pathology, publishes 8 issues a year on-line and in print for members and other subscribers. Supplements to the journal are published periodically.

The society holds an annual meeting that is attended by approximately 400 members and other interested scientists. The meeting includes three full days of educational scientific sessions relating to toxicologic pathology, one day of continuing education and career development courses, as well as other related sessions and events, including the annual awards and recognition ceremony and business meeting. The meeting is held on a rotating basis in various locations in the united states and canada.

Other program services (description is optional): the society supports various long-term initiatives such as holding a virtual modular course each year that approximately 100 members and interested scientists and trainees attend. The modular course is held over a three-week period and includes the equivalent of three full days of specific educational scientific sessions relating to toxicologic pathology. The society holds 2-3 virtual continuing education sessions and one in-person continuing education sessions at the annual meeting, each up to four hours in length that approximately 60-100 members and other interested scientists and trainees attend. The society also holds in-person regional meetings that are attended by approximately 60-100 members and other interested scientists and trainees on a specific topic in toxicologic pathology in one day. The society holds a pathology conference for non-pathologists every other year over a three-day period attended by approximately 50-60 members and other interested scientists and trainees.
