The society of urologic oncology the society is a national organization whose purpose is to improve the care of patients with malignant urologic disease by 1 providing a forum for the discussion of problems relating to malignant urologic disease 2 stimulating research in, and the teaching of, urologic oncology 3 disseminating the principles of urologic oncology to the medical profession at large 4 establishing training guidelines and program oversight for the development of urologic oncologists.

Fellowship: The program provides additional training in Urological Oncology above and beyond residency. This additional training will specifically provide a multidisciplinary exposure to Urological Oncology and provide an opportunity to spend an extended period of time devoted to the care of patients with genitourinary malignancies and urologic oncology research in order to prepare the fellow for a productive career in Urologic Oncology.
