Soky Patriots

SOKY Patriots primarily focus on providing food to the working poor disabled individuals and seniors facing limited income and transportation challenges. Through our mobile food pantries we conduct rural food distributions monthly at various locations to reach those in need. As a partner agency of Feeding America Kentuckys Heartland we actively participate in distributing the Commodity Supplemental Food Program CSFP boxes commonly referred to as senior boxes. This initiative aims to enhance the well-being of low-income adults aged 60 and above by supplementing their diets with a monthly box of nutritious USDA non-perishable foods. Recipients have the flexibility to collect their boxes during our monthly distribution events at Ephram White Park in Bowling Green KY or opt for our delivery service ensuring accessibility for those requiring assistance.

Focuses on providing equipment to people that can not afford the equipment they desperately need for their overall health and well-being. This service is provided at zero cost to the client. Most of our clients are referred to us via home health providers. We utilize used equipment that we refurbished and purchase new equipment when necessary. Recovers medical items that people no longer need. This may be due to the death of a family member a change in medical treatment or simply an abudance of supplies etc. These recovered items are donated to medical organizations such as hospice care and home health providers or directly to needy individuals. These items consist of but are not limited to diapers tubing bed pads syringes iv flushes etc.
