Sol International Foundation Inc

Program Service- Community Center- Extra curricular activities for 150+ at risk youth including educational artistic and creative programs in a safe environment to interact play learn and eat nutritious meals. The center also hosts other non profits volunteers and members of the community to engage with the youth in a positive way. SOL works in conjunction with a Honduran NGO that focuses on complimentary goals for at risk youth to help fund this community space. SOL awarded a grant of $42500 to this NGO to manage and staff the community center.

Program Service- Sports Program for 120 at risk youth in Roatan Honduras. We work with the local population to develop and fund sports programs including a little league baseball league a volleyball league and a soccer and basketball league. Program develops teamwork and confidence for these at risk youth. Expenses include uniforms equipment travel and court and field expenses.

Program Service: Continuing education with medical scholarships we support two doctoral students who attend University in Honduras who will return to the island to practice once their schooling is finished. There is no relationship to these students and any member or donor of SOL International Foundation. They will be required to serve one year of medical service on Roatan for every 2 years of scholarship. Total cost is $9896 and this is included in the grants amount.

Program service Community Support this program evolved out of the need for emergency funds for families in the community that we are centered. Funds are administered to the families of the youth involved in the other programs services when they need additional help due to illness death or other emergencies. $490
